Large swaths of land succumb to the necrotic magic as vile monsters make their homes within. The people of The Pact are desperate for answers, and some turn to forbidden beings for aid. The stories follow Cas, Kipcha, and Ashai trying to navigate their lives in a land dominated by strife.
